Ferodo® Motorcycle Brake Compounds

A Range of Compounds for a Variety of Applications

Ferodo makes motorcycle brake pads using a range of compounds for a variety of applications.

SinterGrip (Road)

This full-metal compound, the world leader in sintered technology, has the highest coefficient of friction available for aftermarket road applications. It is suitable for stainless steel discs only.

SinterGrip (Off-road)

This also is a full-metal compound suitable only for stainless steel discs. The sintered compound is ideal in dry or wet conditions.

ST Array Cooling (STAC)

This approach combines array cooling with the SinterGrip compound so that the pads cool faster. STAC is the best choice for track-day use.

Platinum (Road)

This is an organic compound with the highest coefficient of friction available in an organic road material. It is suitable for cast iron and stainless steel discs on all road bikes requiring organic technology.

Argento

Argento is another organic compound designed as original equipment for today’s high-performance small-cc motorcycles. It is suitable for cast iron and stainless steel discs.

XR Array Cooling (XRAC)

Ferodo’s best sintered racing material (XR) has been upgraded to incorporate array-cooling technology. XRAC has improved bite, overall friction level, wear rate and performance consistency.

CP911 (Racing)

This organic racing compound provides the highest friction level available for motorcycle racing. It is suitable for stainless steel and cast iron discs. We provide products using this material that fit all major racing calipers. It is available for a wide range of references.

DX (Off-road)

DX, a dirt-racing compound, offers a range of benefits for competitive off-road use. The compound is organic, so it is ideal for dry conditions. It is suitable for stainless steel and cast iron discs.
