This workshop will help you increase your proficiency in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of passenger car and light truck chassis systems. You will understand the relationship between alignment geometry, component integrity, vehicle handling and tire wear. You will be able to incorporate MAP guidelines into your vehicle inspection and customer communications. The course will help you develop your skills to make accurate repairs using proven techniques and tools. This workshop is designed with a combination of classroom and hands-on education.

Prerequisite: Minimum of 2 years automotive experience preferred.

After completing this workshop, the student will be able to:

Utilize alignment equipment and understand the relationship between alignment geometry, suspension height and component integrity to diagnose vehicle chassis problems and tire wear concerns.
Perform accurate inspections on suspension and steering systems and communicate the results effectively.
Identify the operating characteristics of the latest suspension, steering and driveline systems.
Perform reliable suspension and steering service more effectively using proven time saving techniques, tools and problem solving parts.
