Federal-Mogul Corporation recognizes the value of diversity and actively seeks opportunities to create diverse supplier partnerships. We recognize that having a diverse supplier base facilitates mutual success and increases product value and customer satisfaction.
The diversity of our suppliers is essential to our ability to adapt to the global marketplace. We are committed to maintaining a diverse supplier base and continue to implement business practices that will provide equal access to procurement opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses.
Since the program’s inception in 2001, purchases from diversity suppliers have grown to approximately 5 percent of our total spending in North America. These numbers include both minority- and women-owned businesses.
Federal-Mogul’s goal is to increase the number of qualified vendors, representing both racial and gender diversity that meets the standards for quality and value. We have a commitment throughout our corporation that, as a team, we can succeed in reaching this goal.
